Today is offically the last day of summer. To celebrate I thought I would share a photo with you from a photo shoot that was recently featured on Polka Dot Bride, which I had a very small part in towards the end of 2011 with Shutter & Lace Photography and Savor The Moment Wedding Planning. The photos turned out amazingly and it was great to meet so many wonderful people in the industry. More photos and the details on the shoot will be shared on the blog soon! Enjoy!
Ombre seems to be one of the hottest wedding trends for 2012. Ombre is French for ‘shaded’. It usually incorporates multicoloured stripes with colours that graduate from light to dark. I am completely in love this trend, so thought I would pull together some Ombre inspiration for you all.

So in keeping again with the flower theme, I thought I would share a couple of photos with you from the bouquet of 12 Red Roses that I got from my hubby on valentines day. Unfortunately due to human error (the courier who delivered them), the roses were two days late (delivered on Thursday instead of Tuesday as requested) and were looking a little bit sadder than expected (probably sitting in a courier van for two days)! None the less they arrived, and the hubby’s money was refunded for the inconvenience.
Thought I would squeeze in one last bit of inspiration for Valentines Day before it arrives tomorrow. If you have forgotten a gift, or have left it to the last minute – don’t stress! Here are some ideas for you to consider.
1. Personalised Cufflinks – A great gift for the man in your life – plus a great reminder of you whilst he is at the office!
2. V8 Race Car Experience – a great gift for the man who loves a bit of adrenalin!
3. Esky Beer Pack – A gerat way to show the man in your life that you understand him!
4. Seafood BBQ Cooking Class – perfect excuse to let the man of the house take over in the kitchen (even if it is outdoors!)
5. Natio Mens Gift Packs- spoil your man with a bit of luxury. The Easy Shave or Groom ‘n’ Go pack are perfect!
1. Name -A- Star – The gift for the girl that has everything, and who means everything to you!
2. Womens Health Gift Pack – The perfect gift for the active women. She is sure to love!
3. Oxfam Unwrapped – a gift that is totally unexpected! This is the gift that will also help transform the life of a person living in poverty.
4. Roses Only – for the girl who is all about tradition, 12 red roses are the way to her heart! Extra brownie points for chocolates and cute teddies.
5. Chocolate Making Class – chocolate and cooking….need I say anymore?
“Don’t panic, don’t panic!”

I was in my local coffee shop this morning and every week they have fabulous flowers on display. I just had to share with you all the photo I managed to capture at the coffee shop this morning. I love the bright, big flowers. The warming, sunshine yellow colour of the flowers and the cute tin they are in. Sunshine. Vintage. Farmhouse – all words that spring to mind!
