In April 2011 Sarah married her husband Chris, and fell further in love with all things ‘wedding’. After her wedding was over, she felt somewhat empty and disappointed, so she decided to pursue her passion for writing and blogging. SMD Weddings Blog was created as an outlet for her ideas and projects, and as they say the rest is history!

Sarah regularly contributes as a guest writer for Polka Dot Bride, and has recently joined the Ellez Bride team, as the first ever writing intern. Sarah writes weekly blogs via the Ellez Bride Magazine website and will also be a contributing writer to upcoming editions of Ellez Bride Magazine.

On top of all this and a full time job, Sarah is studying a Diploma in Wedding and Event Planning with the Australian Academy of Wedding and Event Planning.  In her spare time, you will find Sarah planning events for her family and friends or in the kitchen, as she loves to cook!
